Sift’s device ID is a powerful tool in fraud analysis, and our JavaScript snippet will collect this information. You can view a hash of a user’s device ID by adding  “Device fingerprint” to the Attributes view of the user. With more data and labeling of bad users, the machine learning model will be able to pick up on multiple users per device ID as being a stronger signal of fraud on your site.

Sift Science links users based on Device ID as well as other features such as Cookie Fingerprint, IP address, Billing/shipping address, and more!
