Should I whitelist any of Sift's IP addresses?

> Support for IP whitelisting is ending on Sept 1, 2020. See details below.

Sift wants customers to be able to ensure that any request that appears to come from Sift is properly authenticated. Historically, a few customers have verified our webhook requests using IP whitelisting based on the following static IPs supported by Sift (54.208.214.78, 54.208.215.138, 54.208.213.160)

For the last few years, we’ve pushed customers to our preferred, more secure method of using webhook signatures (in addition to HTTPS endpoints)On September 1, 2020 we are ending support for whitelisting the IPs we send webhooks from in favor of these more secure methods. From September 1, 2020 onward, we will stop sending webhooks from the IP addresses listed above. The IPs we send webhooks from will be dynamic and change over time.
